How does SendSMS CDMA work ? SendSMS CDMA is a piece of software installed on your computer. It works by controlling your mobile phone directly via a COM port connection between your PC and the CDMA mobile phone. It's designed to send SMS messages in bulk. All messages are delivered by your phone company.What equipments do I need ?A computer, a compatible CDMA mobile phone and a connection. That's it.What kinds of connection between PC and CDMA mobile phone connection are supported ?Three kinds of connection is supported: 1) Data cable (either
USB or serial),
2) Bluetooth,
3) Infra red USB data cable
works best because it's fast and stable. Some of them provide power to the mobile
phone and thus can charge the battery during connection. You need to install the
appropriate driver before using it. It usually comes with the cable or can be
found at the manufacturer's web site.
The second comes Bluetooth. It's
wireless thus very convenient. However, installing the driver and com port is
somehow tricky. If you are using Windows XP service pack 2 (SP2), it would be
much easier because it's natively supported.
Using Infra-Red is also
possible but not recommended. It's because the wireless range is very short, directional
and unstable.Which brand of mobile phones does SendSMS CDMA support ?SendSMS CDMA supports a limited family of CDMA Handsets, contact us to find out if your model is supported.Do I need an internet connection to use this software?No. You do not need an internet connection. You can send messages without an internet connection.How many message can I send in one hour ?You can send between 15-80 messages/minute. Which comes to 900-4800 messages/hour.Can I send my SMS messages to different recipients?Yes. You can add contacts to your online address book, and then send the same SMS to different recipients or different messages to defined customer lists.Am I free to upgrade ?Absolutely. All customers are free to upgrade for the same major version. For example, if you order version 2.2, then you're entitled upgrade from version 2.3 to version 2.9 for FREE.Can I text enable my website / own applications?You will have to use our SendSMS CDMA Server software to SMS enable your web pages and applications in a few simple strokes.What if I need a specific feature for the software?You can request features using the support link. We mostly deliver minor changes free of charge.Is there a cost for the software?SendSMS CDMA is licensed in the traditional way with per user licences and bulk licences. You are charged as per your tariff package with your wireless service provider.Can I import contacts from a file?Yes, it's possibile. Import contacts from file in a CSV format.What skills do I need to setup your software and how long would it take?With a basic understanding of Windows you should be able to set all our software. You may need Admin access to an NT built O/S (NT, 2000, XP) to install our software. Set up of our software should take no more than 15 minutes.How can I guarantee that my text messages will be delivered?All your messages are sent through your mobile phone and are delivered by your wireless service provider.
